DISCIPLESHIP MINISTRY
At Jeffersonville United Methodist Church our MISSION is to nurture, inspire, and serve our community with God’s love.
The PURPOSE of our DISCIPLESHIP ministries is to engage individuals in learning opportunities that equip, enhance, enrich, and empower them as disciples of Jesus Christ.
The CORE VALUES of our DISCIPLESHIP ministries are selected to ensure that what we teach is biblical, theologically sound, doctrinally correct, age appropriate, relevant, Wesleyan-Arminian, and evangelical in nature.
The VISION of our DISCIPLESHIP ministries is to develop a Discipleship and Faith Formation program that promotes life-long, life-transforming learning opportunities for those who desire to be followers of Jesus Christ.
The STRATEGIES of our DISCIPLESHIP ministries include small groups, learning opportunities that are relevant to various life situations, and learning goals that develop life-long disciples.

FELLOWSHIP AND CONGREGATIONAL CARE MINISTRIES
At Jeffersonville United Methodist Church our MISSION is to nurture, inspire, and serve our community with God’s love.
The PURPOSE of our FELLOWSHIP AND CONGREGATIONAL CARE ministries is to care for the needs of our congregation through fellowship and congregational care.
The CORE VALUES of our FELLOWSHIP AND CONGREGATIONAL CARE ministries are compassion, empathy, sympathy, love, and fellowship.
The VISION of our FELLOWSHIP AND CONGREGATIONAL CARE ministries is that our congregation will have opportunities to build relationships and enjoy fellowship with one another, and have opportunities to care for one another as a church family.
The STRATEGIES of our FELLOWSHIP AND CONGREGATIONAL CARE ministries include funeral/grief care, shut-in and hospital visitation, birthday and anniversary cards, new baby/child recognitions, graduation recognitions, and fellowship dinners.

The VISION of our MINISTRY AND MISSIONS ministries is that our congregation will have opportunities to reach beyond the four walls of the church building to help others know and experience the love of Jesus in real and tangible ways.
The STRATEGIES of our MINISTRY AND MISSIONS ministries include need based ministries, missionary support, mission trips, and promotion of selected missionary organizations.
